English 776 is usually offered every other year, always in the summer. 2006, we shifted this offering to the longer term as we had a very difficult time teaching something as complicated as BW theory and practice in the short, five-week term (here’s a link the flyer I used to encourage grad students to enroll). Sadly, those responsible for scheduling courses fall 2006 had to add another graduate course (in Shakespeare) as it hadn’t been offered in much longer. That new offering gave us too many grad courses for the term, so we had to cut 776 from the fall lineup. More information on the politics of scheduling when I have it. :0)
