Interview Questions: Exploring the Writing Process Background:
Do you consider yourself a writer? Why/why not? Do you like to write? Why/why not? How often do you write? What kinds of writing do you do? What writing do you enjoy, and what don’t you enjoy? What prompts you to write? Writing Process: How long does it take you to complete a piece? When you go to write, describe the ritual you go though. What does the ritual help you accomplish? Where do you write? Describe the setting. What do you write with (always at a computer? With a ball point pen?) Describe yourself and your frame of mind as you write. Do you ever get “stuck”?
